Professor Ricardo Calvo accompanied the students during the visit, which included an explanation by two prevention experts from the food company.

The Master’s students visited the facilities of the company ‘Platos Tradicionales’ in Buñol, a company dedicated to cooking ready-to-eat meals with natural ingredients. 

In addition to seeing the production process in situ, they received expert guidance from Fernando Peña, coordinator of the company's Internal Prevention Service, and from José Luís Guillén, External OHS advisor for the third line of defence of the Familia Martínez group, who explained in detail the characteristics of the preventive system implemented, as well as its linkage and integration with the quality, environmental and product safety management systems.

The professor responsible for the field trip was Ricard Calvo (Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology UV), Course Coordinator and head of Academic Management of the Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
