Co-editor of the journal “Espacio, Tiempo y Educación” (Scopus), member of the Editorial Board of the journal “Educació i Història”; as well as of the Scientific Committee of “Foro de Educación” (Scopus), “História da Educaçao” (Scopus), “Debates para la Historia” (Mexico) and “Tendencias Pedagógicas” (UAM). Member of the Board of Directors (20017-2025) of the Spanish Society of History of Education (SEDHE).

He has been academic secretary (2012-2015) and director of the Department of Comparative Education and History of Education (2015-2019), and since 2019 he has been director of the Master of Psychopedagogy at the University of Valencia. He has carried out research stays at universities in Spain, Belgium, Italy, Peru, Mexico and Ecuador. He has two six-year research periods and one six-year transfer period (CNEAI-ANECA) recognized. Evaluator of the Technical Committee of Education Sciences at the State Research Agency of the Government of Spain and member of the Jury as a member responsible for the area of ​​Social and Legal Sciences of the Young Researchers Competition (INJUVE and Ministry of Youth and Childhood (2019-2024). His lines of research focus on the history of contemporary education and educational policy, as well as teaching innovation and, fundamentally, the study of play as an element of pedagogical renewal. Member of the Research Group of Excellence “Grup d’Estudis Històrics sobre les Transicions i la Democràcia”. Principal Investigator (IP) of competitive regional, national and European projects, he currently co-directs the R&D&I project “Education for Global Citizenship and Teacher Training (2024-2028) funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities

Doctor in Educational Sciences from the University of Valencia. I have worked as a teacher at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) and at the National University of Distance Education (UNED). I am currently developing my professional work at the University of Valencia participating as a teacher in different Degrees (e.g. Pedagogy, Social Education, Physical Activity and Sports Science), Masters (e.g. Psychopedagogy) and Programs (e.g. P.D. in Education).

I have carried out research stays in national and international centers such as the University of Murcia (2019, meta-analysis unit), the Autonomous University of Madrid (2020, psychometrics unit) or the Autonomous University of Encarnación (2022, postgraduate and research unit) with the aim of specializing in methodology and statistical analysis. For this purpose, I am also a member of the Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences (AEMCCO) and the European Association of Methodologyy (EAM).

My interests are based on methodological specialization linked to the assessment of the quality of the report of evaluative studies of complex interventions; the evaluation of the risk of bias in systematic reviews and meta-analyses of this same type of study; or the assessment and inclusion in meta-analysis of the quality of cohort and case-control studies, among other interests. From a methodological perspective, I have developed research on Chemsex, Slamsex, Sexting, Burnout, Child-to-parent violence or on the use of Information and Communication Technologies and the application of data mining techniques to improving the teaching-learning process.

My research work materializes with the participation in several research projects financed in national and international competitive calls, the publication of articles in international journals of impact (JCR, Scopus), book chapters in prestigious publishers (SPI), the preparation of scientific-technical reports or the participation as a speaker in national and international conferences on the different topics mentioned above.
