This Monday, November 28, Banco de Santander will stop printing the TUI smart university cards and therefore, the new student cards or the replacement of damaged or lost cards will only be in virtual format.

The virtual card is accessible from:

• uvapp
• cuentas.uv.es ('see my university card')
• Virtual Secretary (general menu, 'see card')

Through these three channels, the virtual card can be used to borrow books at the library, or access the turnstiles at the Servei d'Esport, using the barcode on the back.

Virtual card generation procedure for the first time for students who do not have it
They must upload their photograph by accessing the 'upload photograph' option from the virtual secretary student menu. From that moment on, the virtual card will be available.

IMPORTANT: Not having a photograph in the virtual secretariat prevents having a virtual card.

In the case of students who have a physical card and wish to change their photo for the virtual card (physical cards will no longer be issued):
The current procedure is maintained: they must go to the centers, as up to now.

Immediately, the virtual card will be updated and available in the three aforementioned systems.
