Criteria for granting venia docendi for teaching and supervising Master’s Final Projects (TFM) in the MUIDE (approved by the Master’s committee on April 23, 2021)
Criteria for granting venia docendi for teaching and supervising Master’s Final Projects (TFM) in the MUIDE, the interested faculty must meet the following criteria:
- To have an average of 3 points in the teaching evaluation surveys of all subjects taught in the last three years in teacher training degrees.
- Be accredited as a tenured university professor in the areas with teaching responsibilities in teacher training, have a six-year teaching period and have been teaching at the Faculty of Teacher Training or in teacher training degrees for the last three years.
- In the case of being a full-time doctor or full-time trainee doctor, to have a six-year research period in the field of Social Sciences or equivalent (also in the case of those who cannot apply for it).
Equivalence will be understood as the presentation of five contributions in the abridged curriculum vitae, already published, related to specific didactics or teacher training, of which at least two must meet one of these criteria:
- a) Articles published in journals of recognised value, being accepted as such those included in the lists by scientific fields of the “Journal Citation Reports (Social Sciences Edition)” and “Journal Citation Reports (Science Edition)” of the “Web of Science”.
- b) Articles published in journals in relevant positions in the Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) and in the “Arts and Humanities Citation Index” of the “Web of Science” (without necessarily being valued equally).
- c) Books and book chapters in publishers of recognised prestige and with a selective procedure for the acceptance of originals (according to systems included in the Scholarly Publishers Indicators), and which are in the first quartile for Spanish publishers or in the first and second quartile for foreign publishers. The number and nature of citations received, reviews and feedback in specialised journals, and the collection and translation into other languages will also be taken into account.
In any case, the content of the contributions published in this format must clearly correspond to research results in the field of education and specific didactics.
