Next 28 September 2026, from 12 to 14h, the opening act of the 2026-2027 academic year for the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teacher Training of the Universitat de València. The event will be held in the Concepció Medina García room (PB-04) at the Faculty of Teacher Training, located at the Avinguda dels Tarongers, 4.

The act will gather representatives of the university community linked to the Master’s Degree, as well as academic authorities of the faculties that participate and representatives of the Conselleria d’Educació, Cultura i Universitats.

The opening lecture will be given by Dr Ana López Navajas, coordinator of the project Women’s Legacy, with the lecture called «El legado de las mujeres en el Máster de Secundaria: conocer y transferir» (Women’s Legacy in the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education – to know and transfer).  

The opening act constitutes an opportunity to welcome the new academic year and to share a meeting space among students, professors, coordination teams and institutions linked to teacher training. 

When the conference finishes, a snack will be given outside of the Concepció Medina García room.
