The Universitat de València will hold the Benvinguda to the academic year 2022-2023 from 18 to 27 October at the campus of Els Tarongers, Burjassot, Blasco Ibáñez and Ontinyent. This initiative, promoted by the Delegate for Students and organised by the Information and Promotion Service (Sedi), will involve the university services to show the activities they have prepared for the current academic year, as well as student associations and groups.

The start of the Benvinguda 2022 will be given at Els Tarongers campus on Tuesday 18 October. It will be followed by Burjassot campus on 20 October, the Blasco Ibáñez campus on 25 October and the Ontinyent campus on 27 October. Apart from the information points of the university services and student associations, which will take the opportunity to present in person the projects and initiatives aimed at students for the 2022-2023 academic year, there will also be performances by groups from the current music scene: Isma Romero, Cactus, Niuss and La trocamba matanusca.

The Delegate of the principal for the Student Body, Manuel González, celebrated the fact that this year there will be a Benvinguda "without the worries that Covid-19 generated", with novelties "such as the live performance of a music group on each campus" and the fact that Ontinyent "will have a Benvinguda like the rest of the campus". As he pointed out, the line initiated last year was well received by the students and by the services and associations involved. This consolidated “the fact that it is a model that we like and it is useful for students to know the opportunities that the Universitat de València offers in terms of participation, university life, grants, etc.". González invites all students "to come and enjoy the Benvinguda Party" and to "participate actively in the Universitat".

The Benvinguda to the Universitat aims to become a meeting point for university students, especially newcomers. This way, they will be able to know all the proposals that the Universitat offers and the rest of the students, and become fully integrated into university life.

The Delegate for Students organises the Benvinguda through the Information and Promotion Service (Sedi) and with the participation of the University's services and student associations and groups.
