The "XXV Mostra art públic" is an initiative of the Information and Dynamization Service (Sedi) that promotes the relationship between artistic creation and science, curated by Alba Braza and with the collaboration of the Vice-rectorate for Culture and Sport.
The various artistic works are around the Burjassot-Paterna Campus from October 3 to 28. "Tecnofósiles" is the piece presented by the artist David Cantarero Tomás at the Museum of Natural History of the University of Valencia, in the geology and paleontology room.
The piece consists of a series of four items formed by a set of biconvex lenses and LED plates, it generates a three-dimensional superimposition between a rock and its corresponding 3D printed model. The rocks come from the beaches of Gorrondatxe (Getxo, Vizcaya) and the Marjal dels Moros (Valencia).
