The male team of the Universitat de València conquered the 3x3 University Spanish Championship celebrated the 4 and 5 of May. Two days of competition in which the 38 participating teams (20 male and 18 female) offered a great spectacle.
The Francisco de Vitoria University in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), organised in its sports centre the University Spanish Championship (CEU) 2022 of 3x3 basketball in which the male team from the Universitat de València won.
The UV male team won the Spanish University Championship against the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) in a hard-fought 19-20 final. In the group phase it beaded the other universities of the group and in the semi-final won against the UCAM 18-21.
The 3x3 matches last 10 minutes or with a sudden death at 21 points. A 12-second shot clock is used. Each converted shot from the three-point line counts as a point, as do free throws. Each hit from outside the three-point line is worth two points.
