The L'Alqueria del Basket Basketball Chair and AlqueriaLab are launching a call for research projects focused on practical applications in the field of basketball. The initiative is aimed at researchers, research groups, and professionals interested in developing proposals with practical applications within the sports environment, from any field of knowledge that can add value to basketball. The goal is to identify projects capable of generating useful solutions that can be applied to everyday practice, fostering the connection between research and professional practice.
The Chair will allocate an annual budget of €5,000 to support the development of the selected projects. Additionally, various complementary forms of support will be considered, including technical resources, methodological guidance, or potential grants related to their implementation.
Through this initiative, the Chair seeks to promote research that goes beyond the theoretical realm and can be transformed into tools, methodologies, or knowledge with a direct impact on the sports environment.
The deadline for submitting proposals is September 30, 2026. Proposals must be submitted, following the attached guidelines, to the email address: catbasquet@uv.es
