Human Rights in the European Union

Poster EUROPE. Reality or fiction. Problem or Solution

Course given by Consuelo Ramón Chornet, full university professor of International Law and International Relations,and José Elías Esteve Moltó, professor of International Law and International Relations, University of Valencia.

It will analyse the political project of the European Union with the defense of human rights: Internally, it will examine the consequences of the "euro crisis" in guaranteeing economic and social rights; externally, as the "peacemaker" in the current Arabic conflict. In view of the geostrategic importance of this area, the European Neighbourhood Policy will be addresses into account the objectives of the European Safety Agency.
