On July 11th, the Graduation and closing ceremony of the XVII edition of the WOP-P Master (Universitat de València) was held at the Salón de Actos of the Faculty of Psychology.
The event was chaired by Prof. Antonio Ferrer Manchón, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and presented by the local coordinator of the Master at the UV, Prof. Núria Tordera. As representatives of the faculty, Prof. Vicente Martínez Tur, General Coordinator of the WOP-P Master and director of the Social Psychology Department, Prof. Isabel Rodríguez, director of the IDOCAL research institute and vice-coordinator of the master, and Prof. José Mª Peiró Silla, coordinator of the Winter School and founder of the master. All of them dedicated words of appreciation and good wishes for the future to all the graduates.
During the session, the diplomas memento were awarded to the new graduates.
The graduate Emil Guevarra spoke on behalf of the student cohort, offering heartfelt reflections on the two years of shared academic and personal growth. You can find attached his inspiring speech. Family members and friends of the graduates also took part in the celebration.
Finally, graduates, faculty, and guests enjoyed a farewell cocktail at the Faculty’s cafeteria.
