Organised by the Dean’s Office and the Assembly of Student Representatives of Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy, an information and orientation session is held during the week prior to the start of classes. Its aim is to facilitate students’ transition into their studies at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy of the University of Valencia.
Students are invited to attend according to degree programme and surname, following this schedule:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology:
- Tuesday, 8 September: surnames from ABAD to LARA.
- Wednesday, 9 September: surnames from LEMA to ZUZUNAGA.
Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy:
- Thursday, 10 September: all students.
The session is organised as follows:
Assembly Hall
9:00 a.m. General orientation on the organisation and development of the degree programme (Psychology or Speech and Language Therapy, depending on the day) at the University of Valencia, led by the Dean’s Office.
Room 6 / LPG Room / Faculty Hall
From 11:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m., according to the group distribution and organisational arrangements that will be explained during the 9:00 a.m. session, three activities will take place:
- Student representation and its role in university life, led by members of the Assembly of Student Representatives (ADR).
- The EntreIguals peer mentoring programme, presented by student mentors, who will explain the programme and provide information on University services, volunteering opportunities, and the recognition of academic credits for participation in university activities.
- A guided tour of the Faculty facilities and the Blasco Ibáñez Campus, led by student mentors.
