Social Educator. Assistant Professor in the Department of Research Methods and Educational Diagnosis at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences, Universitat de València (UV). PhD in Gender Studies and Equality Policies (UV/IEUD) with the dissertation From Social Services to Homelessness: Masculinities, Subjectivity and Gender in Male Users Navigating Social Protection Resources, awarded Cum Laude distinction and International Mention. Member of the Observatory of Masculinities, linked to the ECULGE research group at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). Lecturer in the «Master’s Degree in Gender and Equality Policies» at UV, the postgraduate program «Specialist Title in Masculinities, Gender and Equality» at UMH, and the postgraduate program «Gender, Masculinities and Social Action» jointly offered by the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of the Basque Country. With more than ten years of professional experience as a social educator in secondary-level social services, this practice has informed and enriched my research on gender, masculinities, and social care. I have collaborated on various research projects linked to UV, UMH, and the Equality Observatory of UNED Dénia. |
Lidia Márquez Baldó is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences at the University of Valencia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Education. Her teaching and research focus on educational technology, digital competence, and the critical integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning processes. She teaches in several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (Pedagogy, Social Education, Speech and Language Therapy, and the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training), particularly in subjects related to virtual learning environments, technological resources for diversity and inclusion, digital tools for speech and language intervention, and introduction to educational research. She has also developed extensive experience in professional development for university lecturers, especially in the didactic use of Moodle, H5P, Wooclap, Genially and other digital tools for teaching innovation. She is a member and collaborator in various educational innovation projects at the University of Valencia, many of them focused on the integration of the SDGs, the design of personalised learning paths in Moodle, the use of generative AI to foster creativity and critical thinking, and the improvement of university teachers’ digital competence. She has also participated in interdisciplinary projects on talent and gifted education, as well as initiatives on technological assessment and the design of open digital resources. Her research interests include digital competence, the quality of technology-enhanced teaching practices, AI literacy, gamification, and technology-supported educational assessment. She has published learning materials, digital resources, book chapters, and articles related to educational innovation and the pedagogical integration of emerging technologies. She currently combines her teaching and research activities with active participation in committees and institutional initiatives aimed at improving teaching quality and supporting the professional development of university staff. |

PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Valencia. I currently work in the Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education at the same university, where I teach in various undergraduate programs (e.g., Pedagogy, Social Education, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences), Master's programs (e.g., Psychopedagogy), and Doctoral programs (e.g., PhD Program in Education). Previously, I have been affiliated with other institutions such as the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), both in Spain. My most recent research interests focus on methodological specialization in the assessment of reporting quality in evaluative studies of complex interventions. I also develop several lines of research focused on the analysis of the quality and inclusion of primary studies, the appraisal of reporting and evidence quality, as well as the evaluation of risk of bias in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The ultimate goal is to promote transparency and replicability in research as essential criteria for the cumulative advancement of scientific knowledge. My research trajectory has involved participation in competitive projects at both national and international levels, publication in high-impact scientific journals and prestigious academic publishers, as well as the dissemination of results at specialized national and international conferences. In pursuit of further specialization in methodology and statistical analysis, I am an active member of the Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences (AEMCCO) and the European Association of Methodology (EAM). My methodological profile has allowed me to contribute to studies on a wide range of topics (e.g., Learning Analytics, Chemsex, Slamsex, Sexting, Burnout, Child-to-parent violence, among others). Graduate in Fª and CC. of Education (Pedagogy Section) and PhD in Educational Sciences, both from the University of Valencia. She is currently a Full Professor at the same university, in the area of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. She has taught on non-standardized techniques for collecting information and constructing tests in the area of education and on speech disorders in the Speech Therapy degree and in the Master's Degree in Special Education. She is part of the recognized research group of the University of Valencia GEM-Educo and the teaching innovation group of the University of Valencia, InnovaMIDE. She is also a member of the Interuniversity Association for Pedagogical Research, AIDIPE, and the Ibero-American Network of Researchers on Teaching Evaluation, RIIED. In the field of educational measurement, she works on the design and validation of tests to measure different types of educational variables linked to the area of language. In the field of evaluation, she works both in the evaluation of educational systems and in the evaluation of learning and skills. She currently has three six-year terms, two for research and one for transfer. She has directed 19 doctoral theses. She has attended congresses, both national and international, participating with posters, communications, presentations and symposiums.
