This symposium will take place on 19 and 20 November in the Colombian city of Medellín and several experts on the matter will be attending it.
The University of Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia) organises this symposium; it will cover the topics on the importance of probiotic microorganisms, its diversity in artisanal products and its appliance in food development. Notable researchers, experts on lactic bacteria from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Spain will take part in this event. Among them is Dr. Rosa Aznar, full university professor of Microbiology from the Universitat de València and director of the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT).
