Guided tour to the IVC+R textile restoration factory

Presentation and guided tour to the textile restoration factory accompanied by the technicians of the institution.

The aims pursued by this activity are:

  • Acknowledging the activity for the conservation, restoration and research of the Valencian Textile Heritage carried out by IVC+R Culturarts Generalitat.
  • Spreading the technical studies, scientific research, restoration and conservation interventions, etc., accomplished to help safeguard the Textile Heritage.

C+R Textile Department is the one in charge of all those works responsible for the safeguard and recovery of the different objects that form the Textile Heritage. All these textile works come mainly from museums and religious and civilian institutions of the Valencian Communiy even though this Department also helps other centres out of the Valencian territory.
