The Degree in Computer Engineering provides general teaching in the area of computing, with a broad and solid base that prepares the student to manage and carry out tasks that correspond to all of the phases in the lifecycle of systems, applications and products that resolve problems in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, while applying the methods and techniques that are specific to engineering.
The economic, social and cultural importance of ICT explains the high professional demand for this degree and, therefore, easy access into the work market. Students can choose from the optional subjects that are included within the Computer Engineering curriculum and also the optional subjects within the degrees in Multimedia Engineering and Telematics Engineering. This gives them the opportunity to design their own education in relation to different academic and professional pathways.
