Diversify and update the existing offer of Bachelor's and Master's degree courses. The continuous review and updating of our official offer must be one of our priorities, and must always be linked to transparent and agreed indicators and linked to our teaching and research capacities, especially in master's degrees.
Expand the offer of double degrees. We will continue with the clear commitment of recent years to the implementation of double degrees that complement our educational offer and provide our students with a more complete and diverse professional insertion.
Increase the offer of combined degrees and international double degrees. The University of Valencia is a leader in student mobility. The participation of the Universitat de València in the FORTHEM Alliance opens a magnificent scenario to increase this mobility, but especially to design a strategy that promotes our offer of joint degrees and international double degrees.
Enhance the quality of our official degrees by obtaining international seals of approval. Currently, the engineering degrees have obtained a EUR-ACE or EURO-INF quality seal and the Degree in Chemistry has obtained the Eurobachelor seal. We will continue with this policy, which recognises the quality of our degrees and gives them international projection.
Implement institutional accreditation of the Centres. As part of our strongest commitment to quality, it is necessary to simplify the accreditation procedures for degree programmes. In this sense, a new SIGQ has been designed which, with its implementation and certification, will enable the institutional accreditation of the centre.
Strengthen doctoral studies. Our productive environment does not always adequately value the added value that a person with the highest level of university education can provide. For this reason, a programme has been initiated to carry out doctoral theses in companies and public administrations and to link them to their objectives and needs for improvement.
Carry out a teaching transformation that combines different formats. We must take advantage of the experience of forced adaptation to the non-classroom format that we have lived through to explore and establish teaching models that are flexible and adaptable to each degree and each subject, which will allow us to improve the training we give our students and adjust to current needs in the workplace.
Review the training offer for thePDIf and adjust it to the teaching objectives. The teaching transformation will only be possible if we have well-trained teaching staff with the tools required for this change. We must focus training for PDI on active teaching methodologies and the necessary IT resources.
Promote innovation projects and programmes. It is essential to continue promoting educational improvement in order to respond to current transformation processes. The new demands in the teaching field require the improvement of active and participative methodologies in order to adapt to changes and achieve more flexibility with quality.
