ECONCULT reactivates its website at the beginning of the academic year 2021-2022.

After the unfortunate incident of the fire at the OVH facilities, where Econcult's website and associated databases were hosted, Econcult's website will be reactivated on September. With a renewed design by the Design Studio Menta, the project aims to return to normality in the process of communication with society as a whole. The choice of the studio for the design was made through a call for projects mediated by the ADCV and Valencia World Design Capital of which Studio Menta was the winner.

The aim of the website is to make all the initiatives, documents and proposals of the research unit available to the academic community and society as a whole. It is also a repository of activities, projects, publications, training proposals and initiatives with the aim of constituting a digital archive that can serve both as a tool for communication with third parties and as an archive with internal functions and a container for teaching and training resources. Obviously, the website can be browsed from all types of devices, adapting to the viewing requirements of each one of them.

Over the next few months, the website will be enriched with various materials that disappeared in the server fire. The process of restoring the materials will be carried out both through the recovery of some of the databases and through the manual reconstruction of some of the scattered materials. The website will be available in Valencian, Spanish and English. We estimate that the website will be fully functional before the end of the year.

The website is structured in a more or less conventional menu that starts with a section about the people who ensure the functioning of the organisation, therefore being the most relevant resource. This is followed by a section that explains, introduces and contextualises the work, approach and perspective of the research unit. The following section offers the possibility of contacting the team and getting to know them, as well as calls for projects or people. The next section is oriented to collect all the projects of the research unit, whether these are competitive projects or contracts (Art. 83 LOU) with various organisations. In the next section you will find all the training proposals developed at the initiative of Econcult or in which it participates in a significant way. We continue with the repository of all the publications, whether dissemination or academic research publications, which will be included in this section, being one of the most valuable elements of all the contents of the website.

The following sections have a more dissemination and communication function and refer to the events organised by Econcult, the generation of news and information and a final section that aims to compile the appearances of Econcult's activities in the media.

"Econcult's new website aims to be a repository of all the work developed over the last 20 years and a communication tool that allows us to fulfil our function of transferring the knowledge generated to society as a whole, to academia and to cultural agents".
