Econcult member Jordi Sanjuán publishes an article on the potential of cultural and creative industries for the development of the economy in the journal of the Faculty of Economics "Noticias de Política Económica".

Jordi Sanjuán, a member of the Research Unit for the Economy of Culture and Tourism of the University of Valencia, has published an article in the Journal of the Faculty of Economics Noticias de Política Económica (Noticias de Política Económica) in which he treats cultural and creative industries as a potential European specialisation strategy and applies some perspectives for industrial policy.

This article outlines the crises that current economic systems have experienced as a starting point for redirecting economies towards new productivity models that focus on dynamic and high-value-added sectors, setting medium- and long-term objectives through economic planning.

In this framework, the Cultural and Creative Industries are presented as a strategic opportunity for specialisation, highlighting the high competitiveness of this sector in Europe.
