We launched a Europe-wide survey to test the results of the MESOC pilot projects.
From the MESOC project led by Econcult we launched a Europe-wide survey to check the results of the pilot projects that have been developed during these three years.
The MESOC project (Measuring the Social Impact of Culture) of the Horizon 2020 programme seeks to detect the key factors that affect cultural initiatives and policies to generate a social impact and provide valuable information to help policy makers in their decision making.
The aim of the survey is to validate MESOC's findings on the dynamics of culture-driven social impact generation in urban contexts.
Through the analysis of case studies, interviews with experts and practitioners, they identified 6 families of enabling factors that affect the processes of activation, development and rooting of cultural initiatives and policies aimed at social impact:
- Network changes
- Market reactivity
- Sensitivity of public policies
- Symbolic reactivity
- Learning awareness
- Spatial intelligence
This survey is intended for anyone interested in exploring the potential of culture-driven initiatives. We welcome contributions from civil servants, cultural operators, artists, academics, NGOs/associations, journalists and health professionals. The survey should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete.
Econcult encourages all those who are interested in contributing to and improving the results of the project to participate.
