Researchers from the European consortium AI-SECRETT will participate in the seminar “Machine Learning with the Algorithmic Gaze”, an event that will take place at Sint Lucas Antwerpen (Karel de Grote Hogeschool, Belgium) and will bring together artists, researchers and professionals interested in exploring the role of artificial intelligence in creative processes.
Among the participants are Pau Rausell, Francesco Molinari and other partners of the AI-SECRETT consortium, who will join this training and experimental experience focused on the use of machine learning techniques applied to artistic creation. The seminar proposes a practical approach to understanding how to train customised artificial intelligence models and how these tools can open new avenues for experimentation in the creative field.
During two intensive working days, participants will explore methodologies for creating their own generative models, using open-source tools and datasets built from the movements and gestures of the participants themselves. This approach aims to highlight how artificial intelligence systems can act as catalysts for creative processes, challenging established working habits and opening up new expressive possibilities.
Participation in this seminar is part of the exploratory process of the European project AI-SECRETT, an initiative that investigates the impact of artificial intelligence as a creative resource and aims to develop new training and research approaches in this field to be applied to different transversal sectors of the European Economy such as non-tourism services, manufacturing, the cultural sectors themselves, food, etc..
This meeting adds to a series of seminars, workshops and meetings that the consortium is organising in this initial phase of the project, aimed at consolidating shared knowledge on AI technologies and defining the mission, vision and values that will underpin the development of the AI-SECRETT project in the coming years.
Through this type of activity, AI-SECRETT seeks to foster dialogue between research, artistic creation and technological development, contributing to building a critical and practical framework for the integration of artificial intelligence into contemporary European ecosystems.
