Following the success of the special session on the Designscapes white paper, a second special session will take place this Friday (24 September), from 10.00 to 12.30, focusing on the interaction between the Designscapes project and the World Design Capital Valencia 2022.
The session will start with a short presentation on the Designscapes project by Francesco Molinari, the Designscapes project manager. Then, our research unit manager Pau Rausell will present how the Designscapes philosophy contributed to Valencia’s successful bid for World Design Capital and triggered design-enabled innovation at the local policy level.
In a subsequent panel discussion, local actors such as María Dolores Parra (General Director of Internationalisation of the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labour of the Generalitat Valenciana), David Rosa (Deputy Technical Director of Las Naves of the Valencia City Council) and Corinna Heilmann (Programme Director of the World Design Capital 2022) will be present as witnesses for an in-depth discussion on this topic.
The session will take place via Broadcast on Facebook webinar director
