Saying it's unfinished comes from a lack of coordination in the policies of middle and modern ages. When it arrived in the 18th century, it had a radial disposition from Madrid and in the 21st century, we still discuss its possibilities within the Transeuropean Transportation Network. Much archive documentation was needed for this project in order to understand the social, cultural and economic context to sparked the specific demands for infrastructure improvementin a vibrant moment of agriculture exportation, growing industry and tourism. The social, economic and political reality prevented and pushed back most of the proposals. For our current time, the demands were important, but also discovering the cause of failure in advancing and adapting to new realities and needs in a constantly-changing world. The Corredor Mediterráneo (Mediterranean Runner) defended by people like Ignacio Villalonga over a hundred years ago runs now within the top european priority runners network as a chance for a future, solid, united and connected Europe.

The chapters that form the catalogue of the exhibition in the Valencia Ateneo Mercantil from 19 May to 15 June in 2017 contain texts by Inmaculada Aguilar that expand and complete the aspects of the exhibition. A short look over the work of its architect, Demetrio Ribes, the catalogue lines dig deeper in the age that Estación del Norte was built along with its minute details and decorations. The author closes the epilogue with a reflection on que everyday aspects of the station and a photgraphy look on it.

In the line of the photography exhibition, this catalogue is divided in five main blocks: the first photographic views, the collective imagination, cultural visions, image of modernity and Nazaret. The discourse becomes the combination of short texts and a selection of images where little urban tales from 1850 to the 1960s can be read.

With a high quality edition, the catalogue of the exhibition held at the Cultural Centre la Nau from 17 December 2015 to 21 February 2016, dedicated to the engineer Lucio del Valle and his relationship with photography, brings together a series of scientific articles that immerse us in the history of the public works of the eighteenth century. The texts, written by experts in the field, offer a transversal view of the life and work of the civil engineer throughout Spain, accompanied by projects and plans by Lucio himself, as well as period photographs by Laurent, Clifford and Martínez Sánchez.
