Abstract:
This books title references the Mediterranean sea and out city, Alicante, the sea gate. It is structured i four blocks: the first one presents a unitarian vision of sea trade in Alicante and its carthographic legacy; the second one presents the marine trade detailed history; the third one is focused on traded goods and the fourth one is dedicated to navigators, artificers, tourists, businesspeople, consignees and maritime institutions. There is another reading along these blocks, some files at the end of each text that provide details of this passionate history.
