Included in the Transport Museum Booklets Collection, the nuber 23 publication is framed within the editions and events around the 80th anniversary of Valencia as the 2^nd Republic capital city.

As the title implies, the text presents the work of the republican government regarding the public works thrugh a quite unknown perspective: national exhibitions. The publication is divided between two main aspects: one providing context and detailes of the València / 1937. L’exposició nacional d’obres públiques that opened in Lonja; and one examining the precedents of this exhibition during the Republic and their rellevance in infrastructure for the Civil War and later years.
