The life and work of the people who have lived and labored in l’Horta of Valencia through the centuries has left behind a large number of testimonies, documents, objects, buildings and images of their human activity.

Some of the main activities that we should consider are the historical documents, the ordinances of the water channels of l’Horta, the historical maps and plans, the names and surnames of the former inhabitants of the area, the names of the towns, alqueries and other physical spaces (toponymy).
