CSIC JAE Intro Program

The JAE Intro Program organizes two-month fellowships at CSIC and is aimed at university students with excellent academic records. Its objectives are to make known, to students interested in pursuing a research career, the possibilities offered by the Centers and Institutes of the CSIC in the different scientific areas, and to encourage them to begin in the knowledge of scientific topics and their way of solving them. In short, approaching the research career.

The I2SysBio offers 5 profiles, 4 in the scientific area "Biology and Biomedicine":

• Santiago Elena: Detecting early-warning signals of the transition from health to disease during plant-virus interactions (JAEINT18_EX_0007).

• Carlos Peña: Web application for the UVWordWeb genome analysis (JAEINT18_EX_0011).

• Guillermo Rodrigo: Synthetic biology of RNA for diagnosis (JAEINT18_EX_0214).

• Andrés Moya: Evolution of the complexity of the genome (JAEINT18_EX_0729).

and 1 in the scientific area "Food Science and Technology":

• Agustín Aranda: Redox regulation of metabolism: role of thioredoxin peroxidase (JAEINT18_EX_0031).
