The IV edition of the Master in Integrative Synthetic Biology MISB (Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo UIMP and CSIC) opens its pre-registration until May 30th.
The MISB is part of the Academic Alliance between the UIMP and the CSIC and is organised by three CSIC research centres: the Centro Nacional de Biotecnología CNB, the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas CIB and the Instituto de Biología Integrativa de Sistemas I2SysBio (joint centre with the University of Valencia).
The MISB is a pioneering postgraduate programme that combines advanced teaching and research at CSIC centres. The aim of MISB, which can be considered the first postgraduate school on synthetic biology in Spain, is to prepare the next generation of researchers in synthetic biology, familiar with new ways of exploring living systems. The integrated programme of training, research and innovation in synthetic biology includes a laboratory module in which participants are integrated into a research group to learn about its activity from the inside.
The MISB lasts two years (120 credits) and the pre-registration period for its fourth edition (2024-2026) is open until 30 May 2024. It is recommended for students of life sciences or physics and chemistry as well as for those more oriented towards technology, computer science or engineering.
