'The reform of the Transparency Law. 11th Congress on the Advances of Open Government. 7th Congress on Good Governance and Transparency'. The congress will take place on Monday 29 April 2024 in the Faculty of Law (Tarongers Campus, Department of Constitutional Law, Joaquín Tomás Villarroya Hall).

On Monday 29 April 2024, the Joaquín Tomás Villarroya Hall (located in the Department of Constitutional Law of the UV's Faculty of Law) will become a place for debate and reflection on transparency and good governance. The 11th Congress on the Advances of Open Government and the 8th Congress on Good Governance and Transparency, to be held in the Valencian Community will bring together renowned experts and academics to discuss the reform of the Transparency Law.

The event will begin at 9:30 with an opening ceremony, followed by a series of conferences on several crucial aspects related to the nature of the right of access, its purpose and scope, as well as its interaction with other regimes.

After a coffee break, the event will continue with panel discussions on the effectiveness, limits and exercise of the right of access. In these discussions, experts will share their analyses and reflections, moderated by Lorenzo Cotino, Full Professor of Constitutional Law.

The event will conclude with debates on active publicity, guarantors, the sanctions system and enforcement, with the participation of distinguished experts from various bodies.

The event, sponsored by the PAGODA Chair of the UV and the General Direction of Transparency and Participation, of the Presidency of the Valencian Government, aims to become a space for dialogue, pivotal to continue strengthening the transparency and good governance in the Valencian Community Collaborators:
