The course-workshop on raising awareness about energy efficiency and savings in homes and small businesses will take place from September 19 to 20. This action is part of the project Scientific dissemination in and from the rural world: biodiversity routes in Ares dels Oms, directed by Professor Joaquín Martín Cubas and co-financed by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (FCT-24-21467).

The main objective of this course-workshop is to raise awareness and train on the most appropriate use of energy by individuals, companies and entities to achieve sustainable development in our societies. The course aims to provide answers and information on the consumption of household appliances, changes to LED lighting, how to install a photovoltaic solar installation, etc.

Vicente Martínez Soria, professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Valencia, will give the videoconference Energy Savings and Efficiency. From concepts to practical application Friday, September 19, at 5:00 p.m.

At the Big History Center in Ares dels Oms, on Saturday, September 20 in the morning, a practical workshop on saving and spending energy more efficiently will take place, given by specialist Andrés Montesinos. In the afternoon, Vicente Martínez Soria will give a practical seminar on auditing and energy accounting in my home/business.
