The purpose of the contest is to recognise and award the best academic works that contribute to gaining knowledge and solutions around sustainability and circularity in the plastic sector. With it, the Chair is looking to promote the University talent and point out the value of the role of research in the transition towards a more sustainable model.

Those students and people enrolled in any of the official degrees of the Universitat de València that have presented their TFG or TFM during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years will be able to register for the call.

To opt to the award, it is required:

• Having acquired a qualification equal or greater than 8.0 in the TFG or TFM.
• That the work has not been awarded before in this call of the Chair.

Candidates must present the work and a sheet with the foundamental aspects of their research and the impact that it can have in terms of sustainability.

The call stablishes a total of 1.750 euros in awards, distributed the next way:

• 1er award: 1.000 € to the best TFG or TFM.
• 2º award: 500 € to the best TFG or TFM.
• 3er award: 250 € to the best TFG or TFM.
• 5 honorific mentions to the best TFG or TFM.

The awards will be subject to the corresponding retention of the IRPF, according to the current regulations, and they will be compatible with other grants or subsidies destined to the same purpose.

With this initiative, the Chair AIMPLAS-UV reinforces their compromise with the university teaching, applied research and innovation, promoting academic excellence and the development of new solutions for a more sustainable future.
