Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Valencian area coordinator, Salvador Ribera, and one of the center’s professors, Mireia Garcia-Yévenes.
If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student at the University of Valencia, you can learn Valencian for as little as €85. Just call 963067781 or visit 25 Serpis Street at the Tarongers campus. Additionally, if you are a university staff member, you can improve your Valencian at no cost. The University is committed to promoting the use of our language and helping individuals obtain the official certifications required for their professional fields.
The University’s courses are tailored for all levels, starting from the basics, aiming to integrate non-Valencian speakers and assist them in using Valencian naturally. In just two years, many people who needed Valencian for their jobs have achieved full fluency. It’s all about motivation, as the University provides all the necessary resources: from in-person classes with specialized teachers to online courses via a digital platform that allows you to progress at your own pace. We even offer specific training for organizations like the General Council of the Judiciary.
These courses are complemented by resources from the Self-Learning Centers across the three campuses, where you’ll find conversation groups and technical staff to guide you through the process. Additionally, as a student of the Language Center, you’ll have access to all services and complementary activities.
Don’t miss the chance to join our groups, where, besides learning, you can enjoy activities such as attending Valencian-language theater performances—a unique way to immerse yourself in the language while exploring the rich culture of our land.
