Italian, with a third of the enrollments, ranks first in the ranking of languages demanded by future Erasmus students. The tests will be held between December 13 and 16 in the morning and afternoon.
The Language Centre of the University of Valencia in close collaboration with the International Relations and Cooperation Service, is going to carry out this December online language tests for students who want to access the Erasmus program for the next academic year 2022-2023. In total, 3,066 students of the University of Valencia have enrolled in this extraordinary call of the Language Center, in which online tests of Italian, English, French, German and Portuguese can be taken.
Enrollment in the Italian test has exceeded all expectations and reached the figure of 1,024 students enrolled, which represents a third of the total. In English, 995 students have enrolled; 570 in French; 241 in German; and 236 in Portuguese. All of them will now receive an email with the date and time assigned to take the corresponding online test that will be held between December 13 and 16, either in the morning or in the evening.
Any UV student who does not have a B1 level accreditation in any of these languages and who is interested in doing an Erasmus mobility stay in another European university, has had the opportunity to enroll in these tests of the Language Center of the University. This is not an official B1 accreditation. These tests will only be valid for the Erasmus program.
Each language test will consist of three parts:
- Part 1.- 40 multiple-choice grammar and vocabulary questions with 4 options.
- Part 2.- 10 multiple-choice grammar and vocabulary questions with 3 options taken from a text.
- Part 3.- 10 multiple-choice reading comprehension questions with 3 options taken from several texts.
These online tests will be carried out through the Virtual Classroom of the University of Valencia and the results will be published by the International Relations and Cooperation Service of the University. The UV Language Center also offers a wide variety of language courses throughout the year (annual, quarterly, trimester and intensive), which can be very helpful to make the most of any stay abroad and especially those related to the Erasmus program.
