Learn Chinese in Valencia with the Confucius Institute
If you’ve always been fascinated by Chinese culture, the Confucius Institute in Valencia offers you the chance to learn Mandarin Chinese from scratch or focus on business-oriented courses. You can also enjoy Chinese calligraphy workshops to explore the famous characters, as well as courses designed for children. Thanks to its partnership with the Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Language Centre promotes international student exchanges, strengthening academic ties with China.

The Language Centre offers Japanese courses in Valencia taught by experts such as Professor Raúl San, and also integrated into the Master’s in Asian Studies led by Professor Marcos Centeno. The centre’s library houses an extensive collection of books on Japan, including donations from the Japan Foundation with original manga volumes. These courses are endorsed by official advisers from the Japanese government and follow a structured methodology to effectively learn Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.
