Interactions between proteins play a significant role in the different functions of a cell. The function carried out by each protein is regulated by interaction with other proteins and different types of low molecular weight molecules. These interactions cause a change in the three-dimensional structure of a protein and, therefore, modulate its function. The group's research history has been varied, as it can be seen from the diversity of the members that we wish to be part of it. In addition to being included in the most recent publications of the most recent six-year period of each of the members applying, it must be said that bio-interactions are studied "in vitro", "in silico" and "in vivo". Due to their general complexity, these interactions require special latest technology instruments such as dual-polarisation Interferometry. This line of research focuses on the integration of experimental and computational information for the optimisation of intermolecular interactions. These interactions enable the development of new detection methodologies, as well as the design of new drugs aimed at target molecules involved in diseases and infectious processes.
