The Sustainable Organic Chemistry Research Group of the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) aims to develop new chemical reactions using more sustainable materials, catalysis and visible light to obtain complex molecules based on carbon and materials derived from them. The group specifically focuses on the development of chemical synthesis methods that improve conventional methods by directly connecting accessible materials and advanced products without synthetic intermediates. To this end, the group has recently explored new coupling reactions using organometallic reagents, asymmetric homogeneous catalysis, process scaling (up to 100 g), decarboxylative radical reactions using visible light and synthesis of organic boron compounds.
- Catalisis homogenea asimetrica
- Reacciones con carbenos Redox-activos
- Reacciones de descarboxilacion radicalaria
- Fotocatalisis con luz visible
- Reactividad de amidas organometalicas super-nucleofilas
- Organic Synthesis with Redox-Active Carbenes.Carbenes are very reactive intermediates based on carbon bonded to only two atoms that are compressibly unstable. The reactivity of carbenes, in which one of the groups is a pioneer in radicals, is explored, as well as the chemistry of their by-products in radical reactions.
