VirDent (Virtual Reality in Dentistry) is a research group that brings together faculty from the Dentistry Degree to develop research and innovation through virtual reality, simulation, and digital technologies applied to dentistry.

- Generate original scientific knowledge on virtual simulation applied to dental education. Develop and consolidate interdisciplinary research advancing the use, evaluation, and improvement of simulation technologies for teaching and clinical practice in dentistry.
- Promote educational innovation and competency assessment through virtual tools. Design, implement, and evaluate learning methodologies based on virtual simulation that enhance teaching-learning processes and the acquisition of competencies in dental students.
- Boost scientific production and academic dissemination with high impact. Publish results in indexed scientific journals, present work at national and international conferences, and encourage group members¿ participation in relevant scientific events in dentistry and educational technologies.
- Foster strategic collaborations with other research groups, institutions, and the productive sector. Establish cooperation networks both within the University of Valencia and with other universities, research centers, hospitals, technology companies, and organizations related to dental health and virtual simulation.
- Transfer knowledge and contribute to societal and clinical practice improvement. Develop projects, services, or tools that facilitate the transfer of research results to real clinical practice, continuing education programs, and provide value to the healthcare, educational, and professional dental sectors.
