Degree in Hispanic Studies: Spanish Language and Literature
In order to obtain the degree in Hispanic Studies: Spanish language and its Literatures students must study a total of 240 ECTS credits: 60 Basic Formation ECTS (BF), 150 compulsory ECTS (OB) and 30 elective ECTS (OP).
As regards elective credits, the curriculum establishes as minimum requirements that students must pursue an elective module of 30 ECTS among: (a) a degree-specific module called “Developments in Hispanic Studies” or (b) one of the (other) nine minors in a different language and its literature. These minors are associated with 12 ECTS credits of Basic Formation in the corresponding language and its literature (a total of 42 ECTS credits), as explained below. Under no circumstances will students be allowed to combine subjects of different modules or combine the language and literature subjects of Basic Formation with an elective module that does not correspond to the itineraries specified below.
