PRONABEC intends to ensure that Peruvian university students can study master’s degrees and doctoral studies in the most prestigious international universities in the world. In particular, in those universities in the top 400 international rankings. With this aim, the Peruvian Ministry approves each year the Presidente de la República Scholarship addressed to students with the best academic performance in degree studies.
In order to make know the international universities to Peruvian students, PRONABEC organises the Fair where representatives from the Office of the vice-principal for Internationalisation and Postgraduate Studies are present. Thus, the Universitat intends to attract the best Peruvian students, giving them the chance to study their official Master’s degree and doctoral studies.
Furthermore, the Fair has also been used by the Universitat de València to negotiate a new collaboration agreement with PRONABEC, through which 100 professors from Peru will be welcomed throughout February 2016. Peruvian professors will receive a specific training programme in the Universitat de València in order to improve their teaching methodology techniques.
In the Fair, a total of 75 universities from 20 different countries will be participating. Moreover, representatives from Peruvian Government and from the embassies of the participating countries will also attend the Fair.
