Robotics for all

Created by the CMQ-E ITIP, the “Robotics for All” program offers an introduction to robotics and computer science to promote the transmission of knowledge and skills in these fields. It is aimed at diverse audiences: school-age individuals from approximately 4 to 20 years old, students, individuals distant from employment, teachers from other disciplines, employees, retirees, etc.

It takes the form of introductory workshop, including assembling one or more robots, programming them and putting them into action. It enables the sharing of knowledge and skills in a playful manner, as well as fostering connections between different demographics and generations within the community, potentially igniting passions or vocations.

«Robotics For All » workshops are included in all sessions of the “Learning Weeks”, within the “International Learning Resource Village”, which is the first and main project of the CMQ-E ITIP. It specifically targets middle school students and individuals distant from employment.

In a perspective of intergenerational transmission of knowledge and skills, as well as increased openness of universities to their local communities, the idea would be to deploy the « Robotics For All » program within the universities of the Forthem Alliance.

Following the training at Le Creusot, the students could then train others within their respective universities and establish a workshop program available to various audiences.
