Master's Degree in Human Rights, Democracy and International Justice

For admission, as a necessary prerequisite, the student must prove knowledge of English language, by means of a personal interview. In the interview, the student must be able to demonstrate a level sufficient to follow the seminars and lectures held in English.

The criteria that the Commission will follow in order to decide the admission of candidates will be the following:

  • Firstly, the academic record of the degree claimed for access, where the candidates will be listed by their academic results.
  • Secondly, there are extra points for those who have other degrees (two points), official Master’s degree (three points), a non-official Master’s degree (up to two points) and postgraduate and specialization courses, in proportion to their duration (up to two points).
  • Thirdly, professional experience in areas of the Master’s degree is valued.
  • Fourthly, research merits such as publications, obtained grants, stays in training and research centres, collaboration with research teams and activities, etc. (up to three points plus years of activity).
  • Lastly, correction coefficients will be applied for those who do not apply for the Master degree as their first option.
