Academic, scientific or professional interest: The continuous advance of research in the area of Health Sciences and more specifically in Physiology makes it necessary the training of specialist researchers in this field. For this reason, the Master's Degree in Physiology by the University of Valencia is dedicated to consolidation of the latests aspects of research on physiology, focusing in the subjects related with the experience and specialisation of the teaching board that teaches it. The basic objective of the Master's Degree is to provide students with a research training in the field of Physiology that allows them the practicse of their professional work in a general field and with the competences that provide them the studies of the Master's Degree.
This Master's Degree is research-guided, so with the received training, graduates will be able to access work places in Research Centres related with the area of healthcare, or they could continue with their research training, by writing a doctoral thesis which is within the Physiology Programme, in order to pursue an academic career in the University, where it should be noted that Physiology is present in a great number of the current degrees.
