From yesterday, September 27, the UV’s Press Bureau publishes ‘InfoUniversitat’, its new online newspaper. This news service is replacing ‘Nou Dise’, which had been published for 15 years. ‘InfoUniversitat’ includes pieces of news, articles, reports, interviews, etc. and gives visibility to the institutional social networks and the Universitat’s television and radio productions. ‘InfoUniversitat’ is available at: http://www.uv.es/infouni
The breakthrough of new information technologies in journalism advises a change from the printed newspaper ‘Nou Dise’, which has been published for 15 years, to a dynamic new online service. This news service will integrate audiovisual content, photo galleries, social networks, hypertext links, among other things. Including all this content is very difficult through a written format. In a time of budget cuts because of the recession, ‘InfoUniversitat’is also an economic saving.
The initial idea will be completed and improved in the next weeks with more sections and collaborators. The ‘Nou Dise’ newspaper library will also be available and it will be able to be read in pdf and page flip formats.
‘InfoUniversitat’ will be fully updated every Thursday, but digital versatility will allow to introduce permanent modifications if the current situation calls for it.
