
The Universitat de València hosts from 19 to 21 November the 1st International Congress of “Liberalismo y Antiliberalismo en España e Iberoamérica 1780-1840. Discursos, Actores y Prácticas”. This congress is organized by the 19th century Reform and Revolution (1763-1917) Group Research Unit of the Department of Contemporary History of the Universitat de València.
The aim of this congress is to establish a discussion forum in which everybody can debate about the most recent researches in the Spanish, European and Iberoamerican areas about the historical study of liberalism and antiliberalism.
The inaugural conference, entitled “En los orígenes del liberalismo. La Revolución Atlántica y el nacimiento de la economía política”, will take place in the “Salón de Grados” of the Faculty of Geography and History at 19:00 and it will be realized by Marcello Carmagnant (Colegio de México/Fundazione Luigi Einaudi Torino).
