Given the alarm on the withdrawal of the flu vaccines from Novartis laboratory, the Prevention and Environment Service wishes to let the university community know that all the vaccines given by the health centres have been provided by the laboratory Sanofi Pasteur thanks to the Valencian Government’s Conselleria de Sanitat, so these have nothing to do with the Novartis vaccines.
The Prevention and Environment Service, through its own occupational health offices, has organized the flu vaccination campaign for this 2012-2013 academic year. The campaign is starting next Wednesday, October 17, and is running until November 30. No previous appointment is required.
Vaccines will be given in the health offices of each campus in the morning from 9:30 to 11:00 Monday to Thursday. In the afternoon, they will be given from 16 to 18:00 Monday and Wednesday (Blasco Ibáñez office); Tuesday and Thursday at Tarongers Campus; Monday and Wednesday at Burjassot-Paterna Campus.
