The Aula de Música’s winter music programme started on January the 17th. Nineteen concerts are taking place at different Universitat de València’s venues: La Nau’s Capella de la Sapiència, residence halls Colegio Mayor Luis Vives and Rector Peset and Jardí Botànic.
These chamber concerts are aimed at bringing the public closer to music. The entrance is free but space is limited. The programme can be consulted here.
The first concert took place on Tuesday, January 17th, at 19:30, in the residence hall Colegio Mayor Rector Peset’s Sala de la Muralla. This concert falls within the context of the series Jóvenes Intérpretes del Institut Valencià de la Música. The performers are: Laura Palomar (baroque transverse flute) and Ignasi Jordà (harpsichord). Among other pieces, they are performing works by J. Bodin Boismortier, M. Blavet and G.P. Telemann.
