The students of Secondary Education Carme Català, of the IES Antoni Llidó of Jávea, and Bachelor of José Luis Rodrigo, and of Secondary School sculptor Francisco Bay Foios have achieved IV Awards Read Without Borders, called by the Chair Popularization of Science & UCC and the University of Valencia, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Promotion of Bromera Reading and newspapers Raise and Information, as well as support from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
The vice Principal for International Relations and Cooperation, Olga Gil, presented the awards at a ceremony on Thursday in the pricipal's office that concluded with a lecture by Antonio Camacho to celebrate the International Year of Cooperation in the Sphere of Water .
Carmen Català won the award in the category of Secondary Education with an essay about the book Biotechnology by the Menu of José Maria Segui, while Jose Luis Rodrigo has won a work entitled 'Dying ... to ...? 'about deadly Martyrs on the trial of Adolf Tobeña.The awards consist of a laptop and a collection of books published by the Department of Science Outreach. Teachers who work with students to promote these were Josep Lluis Domenech and Henry Senabre respectively.
