The Patronage Martinez Guerricabeitia of the General Foundation of the University of Valencia, a member of ICOM (International Council of Museums), will join the activities planned for this Saturday, 18 May, on the occasion of International Museum Day.
Visitors to the Martinez Guerricabeitia room at the Cultural Centre La Nau, will receive a catalog of the exhibition in return for giving their opinion on the role played by a museum on the guest book in the room. The proposed theme this year is 'Museums (memory + creativity) = social progress'. Catalogs will be handed out while supplies last.
Currently, the Martinez Guerricabeitia room hosts the exhibition 'Jaume Ribas. 1990-2011 ', a stunning retrospective of the work of this artist, faithful and devoted to the language of abstraction. A public exhibition approaching twenty years of research on the artistic language -that of non-figuration- carried out by the artist Jaume Ribas. Until 30 June.
