Some engineering degree projects might win prizes by Fundación Universia and Fundación Vodafone

Fundación Universia and Fundación Vodafone have organised the awards Premio PFC 2011-12 aimed at engineering students who have passed their degree projects from January 2011 to May 2012. Projects might come from all Spanish universities, both public and private. Deadline for submission is May 31st.

It is a request that all the projects have the goal to get results in the ICT’s area and to benefit the accessibility and integration of disabled people.

The awards will have two phases. In the first, the candidates will participate through the micro-site available. This phase will finish on May 31st, and a committe will select the three most relevant among all the works submitted. The second phase will be an in-site phase, and the three candidates will defend their projects before a jury. The best candidate will will the prize, the other two will obtain two mentions. The prize is worth 5,000 Euros, the second prize is worth 3,000 Euros and the third 1,500 Euros.
