MediaUni provides a live broadcast of the session of the Senate of Universitat de València that takes place today, Thursday, at Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences. As well as the principal’s report, the election of some collegiate bodies will be carried out. In the session, the 2016 Operational Plan (guiding document of the university general policy and of the budget for 2016) will be discussed.
On the other hand, it also will be discussed a proposal of different statements of the Senate on the lowering of university taxes, on the establishment of a maximum of 240 teaching hours for the PDI (teaching and researching staff), and on the reduction of the working day for the PAS (administrative and service staff) that are over 60 years old (in similar conditions as those of the University of Alicante).
